About PawForecast

PawForecast exists to answer one small but important question for dog owners: is it too hot to walk my dog right now? Most weather apps show the air temperature. Dogs walk on pavement — which, in the sun, can be dangerously hotter. We estimate that pavement temperature and turn it into a plain SAFE / CAUTION / DANGER verdict, plus the safe walking windows for your day and week.

What it isn't

It isn't veterinary advice, and it isn't a thermometer on your exact street. Our verdict is an estimate meant to prompt good judgment — always do the 7-second hand test on the actual pavement, and talk to your vet about your dog's specific needs.
