What to email us about
- Corrections. If a pavement estimate, safe-window, or climate figure looks wrong for a city you know well, tell us — include the city and roughly what you saw so we can trace it.
- A missing location. Want your town added? Send the city and state. We prioritize by how many people ask.
- Widget & data questions. Questions about how the pavement-temperature model works, where the numbers come from, or embedding a live check on your own rescue or shelter site.
- Gear & partnership notes.Feedback on the products we link, or suggestions for genuinely useful hot-weather walking gear we've missed.
What we can't do
We can't make the go/no-go call for your specific dog. PawForecastestimates the pavement temperature and grades it, but it can't see your street, your dog's health, or the patch of shade on your block. Always finish with the seven-second hand test on the actual pavement, and talk to your veterinarian about your dog's tolerance for heat. For a pet emergency, contact your vet or a local emergency animal hospital — not this inbox.
